Celebrating the 100th. year of womens right to vote, along with The International Women’s Day, various male statues, around the inner city of Copenhagen (Denmark), were equipped with pink skirts to mark tha fact that all danish, prominent figures of power and achivement (and thus eternalised in statues) has in fact been men, eternalised by male artists. This, however, is quite wrong, as various danish, famous women also have helped forming the danish history and culture alongside his-story.
