I anledning af Den Internationale Kvindekampdag & 100-året for kvinders stemmeret i Danmark...

Celebrating the 100th. year of womens right to vote, along with The International Women’s Day, various male statues, around the inner city of Copenhagen (Denmark), were equipped with pink skirts to mark tha fact that all danish, prominent figures of power and achivement (and thus eternalised in statues) has in fact been men, eternalised by male artists. This, however, is quite wrong, as various danish, famous women also have helped forming the danish history and culture alongside his-story. For example auther Karen Blixen, Queen Margrethe The First and Countess Danner to name a few…

This is the photo-highlights of The Pink Skirt Mission… A nice-and-humorous and straight to the point, morning-greeting to people everywhere on their way to work, urging us to stop up for a sec and rethink/think upon women’s struggles worldwide, as well as our own his-story here in The Land Of The Pastry and The Little Mermaid…
